SK Functional EVA Evatane 28-150
SK Functional (formerly Arkema) Evatane 28-150 is a premium, ultra-high-fluidity ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer engineered for ultra-fast extrusion hot melt adhesive (HMA) formulations and specialty adhesive applications. Featuring 28% vinyl acetate, MFI 150 g/10 min (range 135–175), density 0.949 g/cm³, melting temperature 68°C, Vicat 44°C, Shore D 22, tensile strength 14 MPa, and elongation 850%, this grade is manufactured by high-pressure radical polymerization and stabilized with antioxidants for outstanding thermal stability. Its ultra-high flow enables maximum-speed HMA stick and cartridge production, high-speed packaging adhesives, automotive assembly adhesives, and consumer goods bonding. Uniform VA/MI, strict contaminant control, and excellent compatibility with tackifiers and waxes make Evatane 28-150 a benchmark for ultra-fast HMA and packaging operations across India.
