Applications:
Cast PP Films for Metallizing & Packaging
Polysure F08RR is engineered for CPP films in snacks, bakery, and food wraps, offering low neck-in for high-speed lines, uniform gauge, and superior gloss. Used in metallizable films, lamination substrates, overwraps, and cheese/monetary packaging. Delivers clarity and heat-seal performance better than generic homopolymers or impact copolymers.
F08RR excels in high-speed extrusion environments where die-buildup and neck-in control are critical. Its processability supports output >500 kg/hr with minimal film defects, making it ideal for demanding converters requiring consistent optical quality and heat-seal initiation.
Why Choose HMEL F08RR? Advantages Over Alternatives
F08RR stands out for low die-buildup, high output, and excellent optical properties. Compared to Reliance H070SG, Borouge HD601CF, and IOCL/OPaL P1350YG, it provides lower neck-in, consistent quality, and Delhi-focused supply. F08RR1 offers slip-modified performance for enhanced film slip; F10SR enables even higher speed for ultra-fast lines.
Reliance H070SG is a 7 MFI general film grade with broader applications but lower clarity than F08RR. Borouge HD601CF delivers ultra-low neck-in but requires import logistics and longer lead times. IOCL P1350YG is cost-effective but lacks F08RR’s optical premium. F08RR1 is HMEL’s slip-modified variant for converters needing enhanced anti-block and film slip properties.
Processing Guide for F08RR Cast Film Extrusion
Extrusion Temperature: 210–250°C
Line Speed: Suitable for >500 kg/hr output
Die Gap: Optimized for low neck-in (<5%)
Film Thickness: 20–100 microns recommended
F08RR’s processability supports high-speed sheet extrusion with minimal adjustments. Die temperature control is critical for maintaining gloss and clarity. Chill roll temperature (20–50°C) ensures proper crystallization and gauge uniformity.
Similar Grades: Polysure F08RR1, HD601CF Alternatives
Explore F08RR1 for slip-modified needs, or Borouge HD601CF for ultra-low neck-in. Reliance and IOCL/OPaL offer broad market options, but F08RR targets Delhi/Punjab supply and faster support. F10SR is HMEL’s higher MFI variant for even faster lines where output is prioritized over optical properties.
